Frequently asked questions

Glasses show “Disconnected” or won’t connect

Make sure the glasses are powered on, paired in the Meta AI app, and registered inside Metafit Display. Bluetooth must be enabled on your iPhone. Try disconnecting and reconnecting from the Glasses tab.

Heart rate shows “—” during a workout

Metafit Display reads heart rate from Apple Health. Wear an Apple Watch (or another source that writes heart rate to Health), start the workout in Metafit Display (not only on the Watch), and allow Health access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Metafit Display.

Distance or pace stays at zero

Location permission is required for outdoor activities like Running, Walking, and Cycling. Go outside or simulate GPS for testing, and confirm Location is set to “While Using the App” or “Always” for background tracking.

How do I customize what appears on the glasses?

Open the Glasses tab → Customize screens. You can choose metrics per screen and cycle between screens with Next during an active workout.

Where is my workout data stored?

Workout history, achievements, and settings are stored locally on your device in the app’s sandbox. Metafit Display does not operate a cloud account. You can export individual workouts as GPX or a shareable summary from workout details.

Which devices are supported?

Metafit Display requires an iPhone running iOS 16 or later and Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with the Meta Wearables Device Access Toolkit (DAT). Optional: Apple Watch or BLE heart rate / cycling sensors.

Metafit Display uses location, HealthKit, and Bluetooth to track workouts and communicate with glasses and sensors. We do not sell your personal data.
