Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Metafit Display (“the App”), developed by
Indrek Jurgenson, handles information when you use the App on your iPhone.
Summary
- Workout data is stored on your device.
- We do not operate user accounts or sell personal data.
- The App requests permission to use Location, Health, and Bluetooth only to provide workout features.
- Connecting Meta glasses uses Meta’s Wearables SDK; Meta’s policies apply to that integration.
Information the App accesses
Depending on how you use the App, it may access:
- Location — to measure speed, distance, and route during outdoor workouts.
- Health data — heart rate and workout-related metrics from Apple Health / Apple Watch when you grant permission.
- Bluetooth — to connect to Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses and optional BLE sensors (heart rate straps, cycling sensors).
- Workout content you create — activity type, duration, distance, laps, charts, achievements, and custom display layouts.
How information is used
Data is used solely to:
- Track and display live workout metrics on your iPhone and glasses.
- Save workout history, comparisons, and achievements on your device.
- Export or share summaries when you explicitly choose Share or Export.
- Communicate with paired glasses through Meta’s Device Access Toolkit.
Data storage and retention
Workout history and app settings are saved locally in the App’s private storage on your iPhone.
Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device. We do not maintain a central server
that stores your workouts.
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data may be shared only when:
- You choose to share — e.g. exporting GPX, sharing a workout summary, or using iOS Share Sheet.
- Meta platforms — registering and connecting glasses involves Meta’s apps and services governed by
Meta’s Privacy Policy.
- Legal requirements — if required by applicable law.
Third-party services
The App integrates the
Meta Wearables Device Access Toolkit
for glasses connectivity. Apple MapKit may be used to display routes. Analytics in the Meta SDK are
opted out in the App configuration where supported.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Revoke Location or Health access anytime in iOS Settings.
- Delete individual workouts or all history inside the App.
- Disconnect glasses and BLE sensors from the Glasses tab.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect
the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
